These transformers are usually used in circuits with AC 50Hz to 60Hz and voltage below 660V. The input and output voltage levels of the product, the number and position of adjustment taps (generally 5-5%), the winding capacity, use of the rectifier circuit, and whether it is necessary to have a casing, can be carefully designed and manufactured according to the needs of the user. The following precautions should be observed when using a dry-type isolation transformer:
1.Follow the instructions carefully to ensure proper operation
For the dry-type isolation transformer to have a long life, it is important to pay attention not only to careful handling and placement during installation, but also to avoid strong impacts and bumps. In addition, be sure to read the installation manual carefully before installing, and follow the instructions step by step, paying attention to how the installation sequence is carried out.
2.Voltage should be adjusted according to the rating
Dry-type transformer consoles are powered by AC 220V and 380V, which are supplied to the low-voltage side of the transformer through a voltage regulator. By adjusting the transformation ratio, the output can be continuously adjusted to the rated voltage value.
3.The cover should not be opened
Installing dry-type isolation transformers requires professionals in electromechanical or electrical fields, and wiring is only required during installation. Dry-type isolation transformers should not be opened without authorization during installation in order to avoid damaging the equipment and causing electric shocks.
4.Make sure you select a location that is suitable for installation
If the dry-type isolation transformer is installed in a place that is too humid, the transformer may be short-circuited in the future due to moisture. Also, do not place the transformer in a place that is too hot, where the sun will be directly exposed to various corrosive gases, so as to avoid damage to it.
